Phillipskop Mountain Reserve has 246ha of pristine fynbos. The reserve is home to over 800 species of plant – a remarkable number in such a small area. In addition to that over 100 species of birds have been sighted on the reserve, as well as many mammals, reptiles, insects and even one species of indigenous fish. We have full lists of the species of plants and animals found on the reserve to date, as well as providing blogs about some of the more interesting observations.
